NEWS - January 2011

Did You Know

·         As of January, 2011, the SCW PRIDES number 326 members!  Wow!! Let’s keep growing.

 

·         Of our 326 members, 35 percent are women; good going ladies.

 

·         Our members come from 36 states, 7 from Canada and 2 from England.

 

·         Illinois currently supplies the most members with 36. 

 

·         Wisconsin is next with 34 members.

 

·         California is third with 33 members.

 

·         Minnesota is fourth with 26 members

 

·         Washington and Arizona are tied for fifth with 22 members.

 

·         Wouldn’t it be great to have members from all 50 states and all ten provinces of Canada.

 

·         Currently we have 25 Converted golf carts and one pickup truck that are assigned to 17 landscaping teams and our irrigation monitors.

 

·         The SCW PRIDES maintain 26 miles of water pipes in SCW.

 

·         According to Max Wilson, County Commissioner, we are saving SCW taxpayers $125 to $150 per resident in property taxes each year.  That’s $483,000 (according to 2007 records) per year.
